Can I damage the Stratus portable receiver’s battery if I store or operate it outside of its rated ranges?

Yes, operating and storing a lithium-ion battery when it is too hot will cause permanent damage and void the Stratus portable receiver’s warranty. A fully charged lithium-ion battery stored at 60°C (140°F) for three months can permanently lose as much as 40% of its capacity. Do not leave Stratus portable receivers in a hot aircraft or automobile when they’re not in use.
